No terminal popup

Post by jackn » Sun Apr 15, 2007 10:04 am

I'm making my way through the 'Essential Linux' class.

I'd like to say a very big "thank you' to 'g.', who set this wonderful tool up. I can't wait to have gone through the rest, and the other classes.

'Bug'? I don't know. But today, when I got to 'Tutorial 3', I couldn't go through the questions. I didn't have a terminal. My recollection from last time is that a terminal pops up where you log in with 'demo' and 'demo'. Nothing did this time around.

I did manage to log in and to get a VM running, but when it came to activating the terminal (firts q), I got a 'passed' without having seen a terminal.

Am I doing sth wrong?
I hope I haven't just wasted your time.

Thank you again, extremely appreciative.

So sorry, forgot to telnet.

There is no problem, of course.

Glad you are enjoying the site. Glad too that there was no actual bug!

Good luck with the rest of the tutorials.
G.
