Hello guys , first of all, thanks Gordon for linuxzoo, is really really great and the tutorials are very usefull.
I've just set up my linux centos 7 vm and I have a simple questions.
I've just tried to use wget / yum , even ping and in the first 2 cases I recieve 403 forbidden from remote hosts and when I try to ping by example Google, I get the ip address, but I can't get any data in response.
So I can't actually interact with external web pages , servers etc , is this a security measure to avoid script kiddies etc?
I've found a topic with a guy which presented the same problem and the fix was to upload new software from his own computer , is this only way?
Thank you very much,
Best Regards,
Dorel.
403 , security measure?
