Cannot Connect

I am using Fedora and can login fine. But when I'm trying to install ruby or a ruby gem I get a 403 error. I believe this is due to the proxy server, how should I do it? I'm trying:

Code: Select all

sudo gem install bundler
and

Code: Select all

rvm install ruby-2.1.2
Result of first one:

Code: Select all

ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'bundler' (>= 0) in any repository
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)
    bad response Forbidden 403 (http://rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz)
Result of second one:

Code: Select all

Searching for binary rubies, this might take some time.

HI
Too many users have in the past tried to use the linuxzoo machines as a platform to launch attacks against other machines in the internet.
I unfortunately had to admit defeat in trying to prevent this in a friendly way, and ultimately I had to block almost all outbound traffic.
You should be able to download stuff from the fedora mirrors, but thats about it.

If you want to install ruby, collect the packages you need on your own machine then winscp them to the virtual machine.
Note I dont give you GB of storage, so you may find you have to install this again and again as I simply automatically delete your virtual machine once the usage gets too high.

It is a free service, and I am only one guy...
Sorry about that.
