Where is the "git" directory

Post by medinita3586 » Wed Apr 29, 2015 12:50 am

Now, off to the next question. I am almost done with the "Essentials commands" tutorial and so far so good but as I try to solve the very last question, or question 15, I am stuck with the problem that I can't find the "git" directory so I can delete it. I have done the "find" and "locate" commands to perform the search but I only get a "git" file, many of them, attached to different directories but I just can't find the "git" directory. Any clues?

Am I looking at the wrong places or using the wrong commands?

Please help.

Thank you very much.

How did you do question 12, which asks for the size of the git directory?

Sorry, I guess I overlooked that important detail. Maybe I am rushing too much on this.

Thank you
