Pipe tutorial files help

I am having difficulties with the Pipe tutorial. I created the "club_members" file using the touch command but was disconnected from the terminal and had to exit and log-in again. Now it does not include the list of names. I also do not have a "demofile" in my directory. How can I restore the files so that I can complete the tutorial? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I am not a Linux Guru but I guess I feel strong enough to tell you that maybe you forgot to update your account by pressing the "update account" button at the beginning of the tutorial. This action would create the club_members and names files that you will need to concatenate and to filter or redirect the output to the the s1 file. But then again, I am only a 150 pounds gorilla and who would listen to me?
