Getting more spam mails

Hi,

Mail servers are working fine except one that about more than 30,000 mt SPAM-xxxx folders generting in /tmp dir, if I deleted all it is regenerated within couple of days. Also who having mail account in the particular server the clients are getting more spam mails regularly. I have tweaked spf and spamassassin scores in order to the client end but its not helped out. Still they getting more spams.

Kindly assist me and let me know if you need any further details on this issue.

This forum is for the support of linuxzoo and its tutorials, not the support of spam assassin.

But everytime spamassassin runs it generates tmp files. Run a find to delete them if it looks like spamassassin and it is over a few hours old. And update to the latest version of spamassassin. I believe loads of things in /tmp about spamassassin is quite normal.

I have never used spam assassin. Tweaking spf will do nothing to prevent spam, only stop other people using your domain name in their own spam messages. If everyone used spf it might help with spam though!
